We have had our little wiggly bundle of fur for four and a half weeks now. She is a sweet little puppy and has stolen our hearts. Unfortunately, bad luck has struck our house again, in terms of puppy health. … Continue reading
This weekend we finally got to pick up the newest addition to our little family, Nora, our seven week old puppy. This adventure began in January actually when I learned our dog Sophie’s mom was going to have a new … Continue reading
Here’s the latest puppy blog from the breeder š
Theodore we call Theo or Teddy. He is quite the āteddy bear,ā when heās done exploring. Look at those paws!
Theo wanted to play too much to sit still for the picture.
Murphyās gonna be a big boy, too: Look at those paws!
Murphy and Ben āhaving a ballā
Katherine (wouldnāt it be funny if we called her Kat for short? A dog named Katā¦)
Abby, soon to be Nora in GeorgiaĀ
Elizabeth on the left, Abby on the right
Ā Elizabeth, possibly Kuma soon
Taking pictures of 10 puppies, getting shots of them looking at the camera that arenāt blurry, and keeping track of which is whichā¦ is no easy task! Ā Iād like to thank my willing assistant, Addie, who also remembered to smile most of the time.

So happy to hear that Red River Retrievers made it safely through the horrible storms in Arkansas last night!!

Ā Some of you have already checked on us, so we wanted to update you and let you know we are fine. Ā We spent some time in our storm shelter as a tornado on the ground seemed to be heading right toward us, but it veered to the north a few miles away. A little too close for comfort! Here is the latest post from our breeder!!! Yay for puppy pictures, one of the two yellow females is our wiggly furbaby! I can’t wait! š So cute #fbf
Well I have just completed my first day wading through all of the course information, syllabi, discussion boards etc, phew! I like the format of all of the classes so far, no papers (yay!) but LOTS of labs. All in all I put in about six hours today and I have many many more to put in before Friday, since I only completed some of the lab work for Chemistry today. I think tomorrow will be a big reading day, between appointments at the gym and with the Jag, oh and it’s Rob’s birthday tomorrow too!
My brain is mush, and today’s goal for this post was basically to document my first day – so that’s done and so am I… Stick a fork in me!!!
Our puppy has been born with her nine other brothers and sisters!! Big litter as per usual from Tana! Yay!!!
I know I promised pictures by morning, but Tana kept us hopping all night. She had the last one about 8 am today. We are just now rested and getting the word out. Statistics are worthless in genetics. We should have had an evenly distributed rainbow litterā¦ But hereās what we got:
>1 black male
>6 black females
>1 yellow male
>2 yellow females
